All of us like to put up a bright and beautiful smile when we greet others and socialize with them. But, oral issues such as missing or damaged teeth, discoloration, gum diseases, malocclusion, etc. can ruin the aesthetics of our smiles. Hence, an entire branch of dentistry is dedicated to making the smile appear more pleasing so that you can go out with confidence.
What procedures do we offer?
Teeth whitening: Teeth whitening is a simple and effective cosmetic dental procedure. As the name suggests, whitening is done to get rid of the stains from the surface of the teeth and make them appear whiter. We use a whitening gel containing Hydrogen Peroxide, which is essentially a dental bleach. It doesn’t alter the structure of the teeth and only bleaches the staining particles.
Crowns: Dental crowns are ceramic restorations that look exactly like natural teeth, but are hollow on the inside. They are placed on damaged, chipped, cracked, or misshapen teeth to restore them to their ideal structure and strength. They are custom-fabricated according to the contour of the teeth and bonded using dental adhesives.
Bridges: Dental bridges are used to replace missing natural teeth. They are composed of a solid prosthetic tooth made from tooth-colored ceramic and crowns on either side to hold it in place. Bridges do not require surgery to be placed in position, making them simple and less invasive.
Veneers: Veneers are wafer-thin restorations bonded to the front surface of the teeth. They are used to restore teeth that are chipped, discolored, cracked, excessively spaced, or worn out. Since they are extremely thin, the dentist will not have to remove a lot of enamel to accommodate it.
Gum contouring: The gums are as important as the teeth to maintain a pleasing smile. Gum diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis make the gums appear dull and decayed. They can upset your oral health entirely and even result in a receding gum line.
Orthodontic treatment: Treating a malocclusion is crucial in ensuring a pleasing smile and facial aesthetics. Appropriately aligned teeth are easier to clean, and also give you a perfect bite. We offer orthodontic treatment in the form of dental braces and Invisalign.
